DBNM is a collection of perl programs and sql database tables that allows a network manager to track all aspects of network operation. The projects currently consists of modules to track nodes, switch ports and network devices. It currently support most Cisco switches and routers. The foundation is modular and should be able to support other network equipment vendors and other types of information.

Planned items:
Data collection support for nodes, switch ports and device discovery on other vendors
Database schema and data collectors for tracking faults and alerts
Database schema and data collectors for utilization statistics on switch ports
